Tennis: Denislava Glushkova advances to semifinals in Antalya

At the clay court tournament in Antalya, Bulgaria’s Denislava Glushkova continues her outstanding performance, earning her 8th victory in a row, and qualifying for the singles semifinals.

In 1 hour, 44 minutes of play, Glushkova won vs. Ekaterina Perelygina, Austria by 6-2, 6-2. To earn a place in the final of the tournament, with USD 15,000 in prize money, Denislava will be vying against Anna Siskova, Czechia.

Last week, Glushkova won the singles title at another tournament for women in Antalya, again with USD 15,000 in prize money. In the doubles tournament, Glushkova, in tandem with Anastasia Grechkina, Russia, will be playing, later today in the semifinals vs. Emma Dvorackova and Linda Sevcikova, Czechia.
