The Ministry of the Interior has developed new measures against unlawful taking of children out of the country after the lifting of border checks.
If one parent has filed a lawsuit to prohibit the child from leaving the country, the information will be sent immediately to the Ministry of the Interior. In such divorce disputes, the district courts will pass the data directly to the police. The Ministry of the Interior will also have information about the decisions of the various authorities. Even if they have ruled that the child can travel, the ban remains until the final decision of the court of last instance or until the expiry of the appeal period.
The data will also be entered into the Schengen Information System when the child has already been taken out. There is also a scenario in which during the trial the child will be able to leave the country, but only with the express permission of the court.
