The band P.I.F. continues to record new tracks even after the unfortunate loss of their frontman and main songwriter, the unforgettable Dimo Stoyanov, keeping to his vision of the band's sound.

The latest release is a song Dimo composed 21 years ago especially for Nikolai Urumov, based on lyrics by Radost Kostova. The song was Obezumeli ("Gone Insane"), recorded in 2003, but never released. The new version is now being recorded again with Niki Urumov and P.I.F., and the new recording includes Dimo's authentic vocals from 21 years ago.

Nikolai Urumov is known as a film and TV producer, but in the past he was also the singer of the bands BG Rock and Episode, after which he released a number of independent singles. He admits that he misses performing on stage. It took him a lot of time and energy to sing Obezumeli two decades later, but the feeling was very strong. Here's what he says about the message of the song:

"Most of all I want them to feel the message because this song is a warning. Even though it was written 21 years ago, it sounds even more relevant today. There is danger and it's coming from many directions. I really want people to understand that. Because if we want change, it can only come from within. Nobody else is going to bring that change - not the politicians, not the... the aliens, if you like - it's not up to anybody else to come in and change things if we don't change things ourselves. We have to start looking for something other than what the majority of people are generally looking for at the moment.
