More than 1 million travelers are expected in Bulgaria on Easter, Rumen Draganov, director of the Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism, told BTA.
In years when Easter is in early May, a lot of intense traveling is usually reported. This will also give a strong boost to the summer season at the Black Sea coast. For the entire month of May, the expectations are that the visits of foreigners will be over 800,000, while the vacations of Bulgarians in the country will be about 1.5 million.
