Chief Commissioner Dimitar Kangaldzhiev, who served as Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, will assume the post of Secretary General of the Interior Ministry. He will replace Zhivko Kotsev until the appointment of a new Secretary General.
Kangaldzhiev was born in 1982. He holds a master's degree in Law and a bachelor's degree in Crime Prevention and Public Order Protection. He began working in the system of the Ministry of Interior in 2005 as an intelligence officer in the Criminal Police Department at the Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior.
