President Radev takes part in Three Seas meeting in Vilnius

President Rumen Radev and US Assistant Secretary of State Geoffrey Pyatt discussed the prospects for the development of energy in Southeastern Europe.  During the 9th meeting of the Three Seas imitative in Vilnius, Lithuania, Radev and Pyatt outlined the prospects for deepening the comprehensive energy cooperation in the region and the growing role of Bulgaria in the process, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. Before that, Geoffrey Pyatt stated it was critically important that the Initiative help Ukraine achieve victory and prepare for its recovery after the war is over. At the forum, Bulgaria’s President Radev met with his Czech counterpart Petr Pavel. Rumen Radev expressed his appreciation for Czechia’s support for Bulgaria’s full membership of the Schengen area. The two also discussed Pert Pavel’s upcoming visit to Bulgaria.
