From 16 April, Bulgaria's Central Election Commission (CEC) will start an explanatory campaign for the upcoming 2-in-1 elections - for the European and Bulgarian Parliament, scheduled for 9 June, reports BNR reporter Tsvetelina Stoyanova.

The slogan for the elections will be "We vote together", the CEC decided today.

A special counter on the Commission's website is planned to count the remaining days until Election Day and to remind about the expiry of important deadlines related to the right of citizens to vote on 9 June.

Today the CEC started accepting registration documents for political parties and coalitions wishing to participate in the Bulgarian and European Parliament elections.

The deadline for submitting applications is 24 April.
