Sofia hosts NATO Intelligence Forum

The NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre (NIFC) held the Spring Session of NATO's Senior Policy and Resource Committee in Sofia on Thursday. It was hosted by the Defence Intelligence Service (DIS). The meeting brought together nearly 50 representatives from NATO member states and partners, the DIS said.

The forum was organised in the context of the growing role of intelligence support in NATO operations, against the backdrop of the complicated situation following Russia's aggression in Ukraine. Discussions focused on improving the timely and high-quality provision of information to the Community's governing bodies.

The hosting by the Military Intelligence Service once again demonstrated Bulgaria's role and efforts in fulfilling its NATO commitments.
