The Archaeological Museum in Burgas hosts an exhibition entitled "The Panagyurishte Gold Treasure". The museum copy of the most famous Bulgarian treasure recently returned from an exhibition in Dubai and is now on display in the "Treasure" hall of the Archaeological Museum – Burgas. It can be viewed until August 30, 2024.
All nine vessels from the Panagyurishte Treasure, made of 23-carat gold, are on display. The decoration features scenes from ancient Greek mythology, depicting a number of deities and heroes - Hera, Athena, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Dionysus, sphinxes, etc.
Visitors can also see the exhibition entitled "Painted Ceramics from Apollonia – Sozopol". Most of the exhibits depict various religious, mythological and epic scenes. The Regional Historical Museum-Burgas hosts an exhibition dedicated to the history of education around the world and in our country.
