Fascination of Plants Day at Sofia University’s Faculty of Biology

The Fascination of Plants Day is to be celebrated today at the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Biology of the St. Kliment Ohridski university in Sofia.

Students, lecturers and researchers will hold demonstrations and provide fascinating information about vampire plants, tree species in the city and plant communication using light, and will acquaint visitors with laboratory oases for the study of the power of medicinal plants and their benefits to human health. They will also talk about plant superfoods, organic farming and whether it is possible in this country, what the effects of electromagnetic fields are on precision farming, and how microalgae can be an important source of healthy nutrients.
