Twenty-six people have been detained in a police operation in Hristo Botev residential district in Sofia. The operation is against vote buying for the upcoming elections on June 9. However, some people were detained for other crimes. Initially only 7 people were arrested for vote buying.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated against them, explained the Director of the Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov.
