Clouds will break and decrease overnight, except in eastern Bulgaria. Light to moderate winds will blow from west-northwest. 

On Friday, 24 May, the weather will be mostly sunny before noon. Cumulus clouds will cover the skies over mountainous areas in the western half of the country, followed by brief showers with thunderstorms. There will be heavy rain and hail in isolated places in south-western Bulgaria. Winds will be from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 22°C and 27°C, around 22°C in Sofia.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. There will be clouds and brief showers and thunderstorms in the western parts of Bulgaria. Moderate winds will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature will be around 15°C at 1,200 metres and around 8°C at 2,000 metres.

Over the Black Sea coast, clouds will be considerable, but will break up and decrease during the day from the south. Moderate winds will blow from north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 20°C and 22°C. The water temperature will be 18°-19°. The sea swell will be 1-2.
