"It is time to have a stable government, not to have so many elections. This blocks the normal functioning of the state. You saw what the cycle of two years of early governments led to". This is what the DPS co-chairman Delyan Peevski said earlier today when he cast his vote for the elections. He expressed hope that there would be more humility among politicians "so that Bulgaria can develop and the Bulgarian citizens can be calm".

In front of "Dnevnik", the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Ahmed Dogan, said that he did not see a lasting formula for a way out of the political crisis in the country. To a question whether DPS would nominate a prime minister - Dogan answered "No, I think there is no need". To a clarifying question whether one of the co-chairmen of the party - Dzhevdet Chakarov or Delyan Peevski, could become PM, he said: "No!"

It became clear that the first official position on the elections from the DPS can be expected on Monday, June 10.
