The 2024 grain harvesting campaign will start at 11:30 am in the village of Zlatitrap near Plovdiv. The event is part of the European initiative "Bread of Peace", which unites twelve countries from Central and Eastern Europe.

Each year the event is hosted by a representative of the National Grain Producers Association from a different region of the country. This year, the host is the Union of Grain Producers-Plovdiv. The event will begin with a ceremony under the motto "May the wheat in the field be golden, may the grain in the ear be large!" A musical programme is also planned.
