Minister Atanas Zapryanov participates in the meeting of defense ministers from NATO member countries, which is held on June 13 and 14 in Brussels, the press center of the Ministry of Defense has reported.
The forum will discuss important decisions in the context of preparations for the upcoming Summit in Washington, USA, in July, related to strengthening the deterrence and defense potential of the Alliance and support for Ukraine. Issues related to the implementation of the new Defense Investment Pledge (DIP), the enhancement of industrial defense capacity and the provision of necessary resources to the Alliance will also be discussed. The defense ministers will also participate in a working meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, where long-term political and practical support for Ukraine will be discussed. The participants will also be informed about the current information about the situation on the battlefield and the current and future needs of the country.
