The 18th edition of the Ancient Heritage Festival "Eagle on the Danube" will be held from June 14 to 16 in two places in the region of Pleven - the Ulpia Oescus colony near the village of Gigen and the Roman castle Ad Putea near the village of Riben. Re-enactment groups from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, England and Serbia will be presented. There will be workshops for young fans of history and demonstrations of dishes from ancient cuisine.
