Bulgaria's INSAIT outshines Cambridge at landmark AI forum

Sofia University's Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) has outperformed several leading universities in terms of paper presentations at the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR'24)

The conference, held this week in Seattle, US, is the leading global forum for computer vision and an important event for artificial intelligence. It is renowned for presenting some of the most innovative projects in the field. Acceptance to the conference is highly competitive and prestigious.
The conference programme includes a total of 16 presentations by INSAIT scientists, placing the Institute on a par with the world's top universities. In comparison, leading institutions such as Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) have 2 publications, Technion (Israel) has 6, Cornell University (USA) has 12 and the University of Cambridge has 13.
