Ambulances and emergency rooms in this country do not have express diagnostics devices as yet, Desislava Katelieva, chair of the National Association of Emergency Medical Care Professionals said for the BNR, and added that if there were options for emergency diagnostics to prove the patient was having a heart attack, they would be admitted to hospital much more quickly. This could help the highest-risk patients but the devices are not being used in this country because they are not reimbursed and their introduction cannot be financed, Dr. Katelieva said.
