A month before the start of the Olympic Games in Paris, Karlos Nasar improved three world records in weightlifting, which, however, will not be recognized because they were not achieved at a competition of the highest rank - Olympics, World or Continental Championships, World Cup.

At the National Personal Weightlifting Championships in Bulgaria's Ruse in the junior 89kg category, the 20-year-old weightlifter threw 183kg, improving by a kilogram the top performance in the movement by Yeison Lopez, while in the snatch he achieved 225kg - two more than his own record. Thus, with 408 kg in the bout, Karlos Nasar improved by 12 kg on what the Chinese Li Dayin achieved.

"I'm in the best shape and I'm looking forward to the Olympics. May I be alive and well and may God be with me, I will do my best to repeat these results," said the champion.
