The honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Ahmed Dogan, has organised a meeting of some of the party members in his summer residence "Rosenets", bTV reported. The MPs and members of the movement who supported him, including the co-chairman Dzhevdet Chakarov, received an invitation, but not the other leader, Delyan Peevski.

The tension in the party emerged after some of the DPS MPs supported the draft cabinet of GERB-SDS in the plenary hall, despite Ahmed Dogan's call to vote "against". Then the co-chairman of DPS, Delyan Peevski, confirmed that there was such a wish from the honorary chairman, but pointed out that he would fulfill the wish of the citizens.

"In recent days, we have been witnessing the drawing of dividing lines instead of calls for unity and togetherness. We call for reason, cohesion and unity! We support the unity of the party and we firmly stand behind the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Dr. Ahmed Dogan", the youth organization of the party wrote today on their Facebook page.
