The regional governor of Plovdiv, Prof. Hristina Yancheva, announced a partial state of emergency in Hisarya and Kaloyanovo, BTA has reported. The measure was introduced because of the fires in the area of the villages of Pesnopoi and Mihiltsi near Hisarya and Sarnegor and Otets Paisievo near Kaloyanovo.
Employees of the unified rescue system are mobilized and work around the clock until the situation is under control and the fires are completely extinguished. The state of emergency is in effect from 10:45 a.m. on July 12, 2024 for a period of seven days.
