Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov: Constitutional changes in North Macedonia also depend on Belgrade

''We are actively informing the EU member states about the systematically imposed institutional and extra-institutional pressure on Bulgarians in North Macedonia. We are raising the issue of non-compliance with the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighbourliness and Cooperation with Bulgaria ", caretaker Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov told the parliamentary foreign policy committee, reported BGNES. 

Ivan Kondov emphasized that the issue has been raised by Bulgaria at diplomatic forums, bilateral meetings and in the European Commission. There is full understanding of our position among the partners, Deputy Minister Kondov said. ''Another question is what the authorities in North Macedonia will do. They are going further, even working against Corridor No. 8, talking about non-implementation and redirection of funds", said Ivan Kondov. "The Constitutional changes in North Macedonia also depend on Belgrade. Our partners are increasingly aware of Belgrade's influence. They see its impact on Bosnia, Montenegro", Ivan Kondov said further.
