Incomes outpace the expenses of Bulgarian households by 199.4 euros

The total quarterly income on average per person in a household in the second quarter of 2024 was 1,644.32 EUR and increased by 20.5% compared to the same period in 2023, NSI data show. 

At the same time, the average three-month total expenditures per person in a household for the trimester was 1,444.91 EUR and increased by 18.8% compared to the same period in 2023. The data show that the earnings exceed the expenses of Bulgarian households by 199.4 EUR, the National Statistical Institute reports.
