Bulgaria’s Consul General in Chicago attends Democratic National Convention

Svetoslav Stankov, Consul General of Bulgaria in Chicago, the US, took part in the Democratic National Convention, Svetoslav Stankov himself announced on Facebook. His participation is an expression of the excellent relations between Bulgaria and the two biggest political parties in the US, he notes in his post. “Within the frameworks of the convention I met with many friends of Bulgaria, among them the American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutch,” Svetoslav Stankov writes. The forum in Chicago endorsed Kamala Harris for president of the US. At the end of July, Svetoslav Stankov attended the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee which endorsed Donald Trump as the republican nominee for president.
