Some of the political parties represented in parliament have expressed reservations about Dimitar Glavchev's proposed new cabinet. Against the backdrop of the silence on the part of GERB-SDS and MRF, the party PP-DB came out with a critical position. According to the deputy chairman of the parliamentary group, Bozhidar Bojanov, with the promotion of the former director of the National Police, Atanas Ilkov, Glavchev has again decided to remain in the shadow of Delyan Peevski, and their warning that they will replace Kalin Stoyanov-1 with Kalin Stoyanov-2 has been fulfilled in practice.

Bojanov wrote on Facebook that there is still a chance for Ilkov to limit the bought and controlled votes and thus decide whether he will serve specific politicians or the public interest.

Vazrazhdane party stated that they do not trust the new cabinet. "The new government is like the old one, only it is new," Tsoncho Ganev, deputy chairman of the Vazrazhdane party, commented for the BNR.

The temporary chairman of the BSP, Atanas Zafirov, expressed the satisfaction of the socialists with the change of the interior minister. He defined Atanas Ilkov as a professional and expressed hope that he would assist in an honest vote. "I see the mood to create tension and provoke protests. But the protests should be against those who made the constitutional changes," commented Zafirov to BNR.
