Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokop leads the festive liturgy in town of Delchevo, Republic of Macedonia

This morning, in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the town of Delchevo, in the Republic of Macedonia, His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokop led the holy liturgy, together with the superior of the Delchevo - Kamenichka Diocese, Bishop Marko and priests from Bulgaria and North Macedonia, BTA reported. Since early morning, hundreds of laymen filled the temple and the courtyard around the church.

His Eminence responded to the invitation of Bishop Marko and served the morning prayer in the church dedicated to the Assumption of the Holy Virgin, which is celebrated today in the old style calendar. 

OnAugust 6, when the Bugarian Orthodox Church celebrated Ilinden in a new style, the service in the church "Holy Prophet Elijah" in the village of Riltsi, headed by Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokop, was joined by the archbishop of of the Delchevo - Kamenichka Diocese Archpriest Alexander Vasev and hieromonk Vissarion Danchev.
