Sympathizers and members of the MRF, supporting the Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan, went to the "March for Democracy" from Dogan's property in the capital's Boyana district. Ahmed Dogan divides his time between the property in Sofia and the residence in Rosenets Park.

"The norms of the rule of law are at serious risk. It is hardly admissible, since here, in the property where Dr. Ahmed Dogan lived and lives and has a tenancy agreement, it is entered with self-government and we do not know who these people are right inside, where there is a lot of party documentation , a very large part of the archive is there", said the co-chairman of the MRF Dzhevdet Chakarov, also referring to the police cordon around the mansion.

MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk called what was happening a "restriction of rights and freedoms". "However, as soon as the country is taken over, we must seek our rights somewhere outside the country's institutions. Apparently they don't function, they serve interests, they are private, that's why we are going on a march for democracy", he added.
