From September 2 to 11, the Central Election Commission is accepting documents for the registration of parties and coalitions for participation in the parliamentary elections on October 27.  After the deadline, it will become clear which political formations will take part in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections. In order to participate in the elections, each party must have the support of at least 2,500 voters.

Since yesterday, representatives of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) affiliated with Ahmed Dogan and representatives of DPS affiliated with Delyan Peevski have been waiting in line at the Central Election Commission to submit registration documents. It is not clear which of the two factions of DPS will be able to make the registration. The Central Election Commission is being guarded by the gendarmerie. Delyan Peevski's press center announced that just minutes after midnight, their faction had submitted an electronic application. Representatives of the Youth Movement for Rights and Freedoms and supporters of Ahmed Dogan pointed out that they were the first to arrive at the Central Election Commission and are authorized by DPS Chairman Dzhevdet Chakarov to register the movement.
