Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 4 September 2024

Sunny weather with temporary increases in cloudiness and brief rain on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and in isolated places in the mountainous and eastern regions, short-term rain with thunder will fall. A light and moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. 

Maximum temperatures will be between 30°C and 35°C, in Sofia - around 31°C.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. In the afternoon, there will be temporary increases in cumulus clouds, but only in isolated places in the Rilo-Rhodope region and Stara planina mountain will it rain and thunder. A moderate wind will blow from the northeast. The maximum temperature at a height of 1,200 meters will be about 22°,, at 2,000 meters - about 16°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast before noon. After midday, more significant temporary increases in cloudiness will be seen over the north coast, where isolated showers and thunderstorms will occur. A moderate wind from the northeast-east will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 26°C and 29°C. The sea water temperature: will be 25°C-27°C.
