A contract for the delivery of 20 multiple-unit trains was signed at the Council of Ministers

A contract for the delivery of 20 multiple-unit trains was signed at the Council of Ministers in the presence of caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev. They are financed with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan. 

The Ministry of Transport and Communications is the contracting authority. The contractor is the consortium Škoda Transportation and Škoda Vagonka. The trains will cost 511.4 million BGN (EUR 261.4 million). The delivery period is 2 years.
