We Continue the Change, Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria and Yes Bulgaria sign a coalition agreement

We Continue the Change (PP), Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB) and the Yes Bulgaria Movement signed a coalition agreement to participate in the parliamentary elections on October 27. The coalition will work to make Bulgaria a worthy partner in the EU and NATO and a member of the Schengen area and the Eurozone, reported BTA.

The information states that the three formations aim to develop Bulgaria as a country with a competitive, innovative economy and a high standard of living. In the joint agreement, the leaders of the three parties commit to working towards achieving equality before the law for all and an independent judiciary, overcoming regional and social inequalities, and ensuring peace and security of every Bulgarian citizen. It is also mentioned that PP-DB will work for a Bulgaria of active citizens and entrepreneurs with new ideas and investments in the future. PP-DB claim that they will work to preserve Bulgarian nature and to achieve a socially just transition to a low-carbon economy.

Among the coalition's main goals are Bulgaria's energy independence, national security and modernization of the Bulgarian army, as well as preservation of cultural and historical heritage and development of modern Bulgarian culture.
