Vasil Levski Bulgarian school in UK's Barking opens the new academic year

On September 9, the Vasil Levski Bulgarian school in Barking, Great Britain, opens its doors for the new school year 2024/2025. "We can't wait for you to fill the classrooms to learn and have fun together," the school administration shared on Facebook days before the first school bell.

The Vasil Levski School in Barking opened its doors for the first time on January 18, 2009. The founder and director of the school is Milena Vezenkova. 
In 2010, she also founded the Bulgarian school "Rosova Dolina" (Rose Valley) in Tottenham (with a branch in Harlow, which opened on 12 September 2021). 

Bulgarian language and literature, history and geography of Bulgaria are taught in the schools.
