Sofia hosts the International Festival for Street and Puppet Theater "Puppet Fair"

The 13th International Festival for Street and Puppet Theater "Puppet Fair" opens at the Sofia Puppet Theater (14 General Gurko Street). The festival, which will run until September 21, is non-competitive. Professional theatres from the country and abroad participate in it. ''Get ready for a spectacular show, world-class artists and all the splendour of puppet theatre that will fill our capital with creativity and beauty!", the Sofia Puppet Theater said.

At 11 am today, there will be a street parade named GRANDE CANTAGIRO BARATTOLI, Italy – STEAMFOLK FROM ALL AROUND THE COUNTRIES
 – parade along the route "Vitosha" Blvd. - from "Solunska" Str. to "Patriarch Evtimii" Blvd. There will also be a parade at 6:30 PM along the route from the National Theater - to the Sofia Puppet Theater, stage "Gurko" 14. Guests from a number of countries including France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Great Britain, Georgia, Japan and Germany are taking part in the festival.
