Bulgarian folklore club "Chemshir" takes part in "Culture Night" in Northern Ireland

Bulgarian Folk Dance Club "Chemshir" from Armagh, Northern Ireland, will participate in the program of "Culture Night" in the city of Omagh, Northern Ireland. The ensemble’s performance is today at 19:00 local time in the central square of the town. "Dear compatriots, we believe in strong Bulgarian support in order to present our country properly," the dancers wrote on Facebook.


Folk Dance Club "Chemshir" was founded on September 1, 2013 by Plamena Chemshirova. The formation brings together people of all ages and skill levels from all over Northern Ireland who love folk dancing. The idea is to show the beauty of Bulgarian traditional folk music, dances and Bulgarian culture, BTA reports.
