Bulgaria takes part in international festival in Charlotte, USA

The Bulgarian Sunday school Vasil Aprilov in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, will be part of the presentation of Bulgaria and Bulgarian culture at the international festival organized by the University in Charlotte. The event is taking place on 21 September after 5 PM local time in the university campus, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. At the Bulgaria stall volunteers will be answering visitors’ questions about Bulgarian cuisine, geographic location and language, and will write their names in the Bulgarian language.

The Bulgarian Sunday school Vasil Aprilov in Charlotte is the first licensed Bulgarian school in North and South Carolina, the US. It was founded on 4 October, 2009 with the purpose of preserving the Bulgarian language and of developing into a hub for the Bulgarian community in two America states - North and South Carolina.
