After the threat of protests by the farmers, this morning a payment was made to the farmers through the Agriculture State Fund under the so-called Ukrainian aid, with BGN 200 million allocated. The remaining BGN 130 million will be provided by the end of November this year. This was announced by Caretaker Minister of Finance Ludmila Petkova and Caretaker Minister of Agriculture Georgi Takhov, reported BGNES.
The Chairman of the National Association of Grain Producers, Iliya Prodanov, confirmed that the 200 million BGN in question have already been distributed and entered into the accounts of agricultural producers.

"The protest preparedness was exactly with this request – to get clear guarantees for the payment," he said and announced that the protest preparedness is currently being cancelled.
