Bulgarian cabinet allocates additional funds for the activities of the Agency for Bulgarians Abroad

The Bulgarian government has approved additional funds in the amount of up to BGN 112,000 under the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 2024. The funds are for the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad under the Minister of Foreign Affairs to ensure the maintenance of sustainable relations with our compatriots, the support of their structures, interaction for effective and coordinated work with the Bulgarian communities abroad. 

The Council of Ministers specifies that the additional funds have been set aside due to the expanded volume of activities in support of the Bulgarian communities abroad of the agency, with the aim of preserving and spreading the native culture, language, traditions and self-awareness among Bulgarians around the world.
