This weekend, in the park in front of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in central Sofia, a farmers' festival will be held under the theme "Culinary treasures from near and far". The organisers have prepared a feast for food lovers, inviting chefs specialising in Bulgarian, Japanese, Italian and Latin American cuisine.

There will be farm products - dairy and meat, fruits and vegetables, honey and bee products, and spices from all over the world.

During the event, American connoisseur of Bulgarian cuisine Rory Miller will present his book Eyeball It: Village Culinary Adventures, the result of his travels through Bulgaria in search of forgotten recipes.
