The deadline for challenging the results of the elections for the 51st National Assembly before the Constitutional Court expires today at 5:00 pm. So far, two appeals have been lodged by MPs from the previous Parliament requesting partial and total annulment of the October 27 vote. Shortly before the swearing-in of the new constitutional judges, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP-BP) are also expected to file requests for a recount of ballots in all polling stations and for a complete annulment of the election results.

BSP- United Left is also collecting signatures for a partial annulment of the vote. Once cases are opened based on the new appeals, the Constitutional Court will have to rule on the admissibility of all the requests and then decide whether to consider them together or separately.
