The Bulgarian national team won a 1-0 victory versus Luxembourg in the penultimate match from the C3 group of the Nations League.

The Bulgarian footballers performed up to par in the first half, but the second half was a challenge for them, with goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov excelling, saving 13 out of 20 shots. In the 23rd minute, Bulgaria’s Andrian Kraev scored the only goal in the match.

With their victory against Luxembourg, the Bulgarian squad climbed to second position in the standings with 8 points. Northern Ireland is top of the rankings with 10 points after winning a 2-0 victory versus Belarus.

The Bulgarian football team had not won an away match since 16 November, 2022 when they won by 2-0 against Cyprus.
