At the contest, students simulate a trial on cases related to the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in The Hague (ICC). The prosecution and defense speeches are in English on a case of human rights violation. During the simulation, the teams, divided into prosecutors and defense, demonstrate oral argumentation skills before a jury of acting judges. In the final, the Bulgarian team faced the Romanian team. The chairman of the jury was judge Alphons Orie from the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague.
