The National Employment Agency will create a register of economically inactive Bulgarians aged between 16 and 65 who are neither studying nor working. This is outlined in a draft decree of the Council of Ministers. According to data from the National Statistical Institute, the number of economically inactive Bulgarians aged 16 to 64, who are neither pensioners nor studying, is 468,400.

One of the tasks of the National Employment Agency is to work with economically inactive citizens. However, it is difficult to identify who they are. That is why, the National Revenue Agency and the Ministry of Education and Science will provide information to the National Employment Agency.
