MEP Stoyanov to lead Europe of Sovereign Nations group, Vazrazhdane party announces

Stanislas Stoyanov, a member of the European Parliament from Vazrazhdane, has been elected chair of the Europe of Sovereign Nations (ESN) political group within the European Parliament, according to a statement from the Vazrazhdane press office. 

Stoyanov was the only candidate for the post and was elected unanimously by all the delegations of the parties that make up the Europe of Sovereign Nations Group, Vazrazhdane's statement added. According to the announcement, Stoyanov's main goals are for the group to become a major political force in the EU by the end of his term and for the party to have representatives in all European countries (it currently has representatives in 12 EU countries).

The news has not yet been confirmed by an independent source. 

According to the official website of the European Parliament, as of September 2024, the Europe of Sovereign Nations Group in the European Parliament consists of 25 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the following countries: Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, France, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary.The ESN Group was founded in July 2024 and brings together MEPs from different European countries who support national sovereignty and oppose further centralisation within the European Union.
