Good conditions for winter sports and hiking in the Bulgarian mountains

Temperatures in the mountains are relatively high for the season and it is windy and foggy on higher ground. However, the conditions for winter sports and hiking in the mountains are good, reported BTA. On Friday it rained in some mountain areas, said the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross. 

Currently, the best conditions are in Pamporovo resort, where the snow cover is 110 cm, the weather is sunny and there is light wind. There is strong wind near Todorka Peak in Pirin Mountain. In the lower parts of the mountain, there is light wind. There is light wind in Borovets resort, but it is cloudy. It is sunny over the Rila Lakes.
