Weather continues cloudy, slight rise in temperatures

On Thursday, minimum temperatures will range from minus 5° C. to zero, reaching minus 8° C. in the Eastern parts of the country, for Sofia around minus 3° C. During the day there will be clouds over most of the country. Until midday there will be a light rain mingled with snow in the central regions of Northern Bulgaria. In the Danube Plain there will be a light Easterly wind, in the Eastern parts the wind will be predominantly light, from the South-Southwest. Daytime highs will reach 2-7° C., for Sofia around 5° C.

Over the mountains there will be clouds, with light snow over the mountains in Western Bulgaria and the Balkan Range. There will be a moderate wind from the West, on higher ground the wind will be temporarily strong, from the Northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 3° C., at 2,000 m. around minus 3° C.

Along the Black Sea coastline temperatures will reach 5-6° C., temperature of the sea water 5-7° C., sea state 2-3.

On Friday the clouds will disperse and there will be a low probability of precipitation. There will be a light to moderate wind from the South-Southwest. Temperatures will rise, reaching a maximum of 12-14° C. Visibility will be diminished in some valleys and along the Danube before midday, temperatures there will remain low.
