Lovers' bench and other romantic places in Bulgaria

Love blooms with renewed vigour every year on 14 February! Valentine's Day is increasingly being celebrated in Bulgaria as a holiday that inspires lovers to share beautiful moments together. Traditions include the exchange of cards, gifts and romantic gestures that symbolise love and affection between partners. Whether the love is young or established over the years, there is no better way to celebrate than by taking a trip together to a beautiful and inspiring place.

For couples who love seaside romance, the old towns of Nessebar and Sozopol offer peace and quiet in winter, with cobbled streets, sea views and small restaurants with candles and aromatic wine.
f you prefer the tranquillity of the mountains, Bozhentsi, with its Renaissance atmosphere and secluded guesthouses, is the ideal choice. And for those looking for a relaxing holiday, the spa town of Velingrad or the hot mineral pools of Sapareva Banya offer relaxation and warmth.

Another special place in Bulgaria attracts lovers who want to celebrate their love in a symbolic way. That's where Gergana Mancheva takes us with her piece from the Radio Bulgaria collection - Love bench near Dryanovo - a place for shared feelings.
