The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov visited Arsenal, Bulgaria's largest arms manufacturer, in Kazanlak. The management of the factory presented the technological capabilities of the plant, its main production capacities as well as the ongoing modernisation processes".

"The development of companies such as Arsenal contributes to strengthening Bulgaria's defence capabilities and establishing the country as an active partner within the European Union," said a government press release. It also emphasises that the modern approach includes not only the expansion of production capacities, but also the promotion of innovation and the creation of sustainable supply chains in cooperation with European partners.
