Greece is priority partner of Bulgaria

Bulgaria supports the efforts of Greece to cope with the crisis, as Greece is a priority partner of Bulgaria on the Balkans and in the EU, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov said after a meeting with his Greek counterpart Stavros Dimas in Athens. Among the topics discussed were opening new border checkpoints and connecting the gas networks of the countries. Minister Dimas accepted well the idea for a joint meeting of the foreign ministers of Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania in the coming months.
