Each year between 50,000 and 60,000 people leave Bulgaria in search of a better-paid job abroad. The information was presented by the local labor unions, Nova TV informed. Thus, a total of 2.5 million Bulgarians in active age work abroad. They send to their relatives in Bulgaria over EUR 850 million each year. This is another Bulgarian absurdity: most of the unemployed Bulgarians rely on the money sent by their relatives who work abroad.
