The officials are going to discuss the situation on the Bulgarian-Greek border and the problem of the influx of illegal migrants in the territory of Bulgaria. Control on the border with Greece has been strengthened after over the past 24 hours 87 migrants tried to enter the country illegally. Military from the Land Forces have arrived to the border zone to support Border Police. The intercepted migrants were taken to the base of the border police department in the town of Petrich. Under international agreements, the illegal migrants should be returned to Greece.
